Overview:
The microfibre filter elements are responsible for the precise filtration process. Due to their special nature, they guarantee a high filtration efficiency of 99.99% at 0.1 µm for oil mist. Further, the filter cartridges grant a smooth process.
Performance Parameter:
Filtering accuracy: usually between 0.1 and 10 microns, different application scenarios and oil mist types require the selection of filter cartridges with different filtering accuracies. In some high-precision machining processes, a filter element with a filtration accuracy of 0.1 microns may be required to meet the requirements.
Working temperature: Generally, it can work within the temperature range of -20 ℃ to 120 ℃, but the temperature tolerance range of filter cartridges made of different materials may vary.
Design pressure: The design pressure is usually below 0.5 MPa. When selecting a filter element, it is necessary to determine the appropriate filter element based on the actual working pressure.
Flow rate: The flow rate determines the amount of oil mist and gas that the filter can process per unit time, and the appropriate flow rate of the filter needs to be selected based on the amount of oil mist generated by the equipment.
Filtering area: Depending on the size of the filter element, it usually ranges from 0.1 to 10 square meters. The larger the filtering area, the better the filtering effect and service life.
The Replacement Of The Filter Elements:
As soon as the microfibres of the filter elements of the Oil Mist Separator are almost completely saturated by impurities and lubricating oil particles, the filter cartridges need to be replaced. The vacuum pressure gauge of the filter system indicates when to replace the filter cartridges.
